Seymour Daily Tribune January 6, 2007 Clara L. Goben April 12, 1924 - Jan. 5, 2007 Clara Goben, 82, Brownstown, died at 4:42 a.m. Friday, Jan. 5, 2007, at St. Francis Hospital, Beech Grove. Mrs. Goben was a homemaker and a member of Ratcliff Grove Christian Church. She had retired in 1991 after working more than 20 years for the Bureau of Motor Vehicles Commission, Brownstown office. She had lived in Jackson County since November 1969. Born April 12, 1924, in White County, she was a daughter of Edward and Ida Ferguson Buschman, both of whom preceded her in death. On Feb. 24, 1946, at Fowler, she married Richard "Dick" Goben, who survives. Other survivors include four children, Brent (Virginia) Goben, Seymour, Bruce (Debbie) Goben, Brownstown, Brad (Nancy) Goben, Vallonia, and Barbara (Colin) Clark, Brownstown; a brother, Thomas Buschman, Remington; a sister, Carlen Pemberton, Fowler; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jennifer Keithley, and two brothers, Forrest Buschman and Beryle Buschman. Ken Jurgens will conduct funeral services at 11 a.m. Monday at Winklepleck-Weesner Funeral Home, Brownstown. Burial will take place at Fairview Cemetery, Brownstown. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the American Diabetes Association.
