Stanley Victor Goen

Stanley Victor Goen, 74, Leesville, died at 6:35 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, 2002, at his home.
Mr. Goen had been employed with Cummins Engine Co. in Columbus. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and the Korean War.
Born Aug. 13, 1927, in Jackson County, he was a son of Simon Dennis Goen and Addie Blanche Brown Goen. He married Patricia Henke, who survives.
Other survivors include three sons, Stanley V. Goen II, Seymour, Mark J. Arvel Goen, Leesville, and Jerry Duane Goen, Medora; three daughters, Charlottie “Lottie” Brooks, Medora, Donna Jeanne Middleton, Leesville, and Sheila Goen; 15 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a great-grandchild; two brothers, David M. Goen and Simon W. Goen; and a sister, Agnes M. Meadows.
The Rev. Jerry Clark will conduct services at 2 p.m. Sunday at Hague Funeral Home, Medora. Burial will be in Dixon Chapel Cemetery, Lawrence County. Military graveside rites will be conducted.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and from 11 a.m. until time of service Sunday at the funeral home.
