Seymour Daily Tribune Norma Louise (Snyder) Hackman July 7, 2006 Norma Louise (Snyder) Hackman, 79, Vallonia, died at 9:35 p.m., Wednesday, July 5, 2006, at her son’s home in Vallonia. Mrs. Hackman was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Vallonia. She was a secretary at the state nursery and retired from Jackson County REMC. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church Ladies Aide, Alter Guild and Couples Club. Born Sept. 20, 1926, she was a daughter of William and Martha (Pollert) Snyder, both of whom preceded her in death. On Feb. 19, 1950, in Seymour, she married Marvin Alvin “Mick” Hackman, who survives in Vallonia. Other survivors include three children, Pamela (Ron) Cunningham, Sellersburg, Gary (Cathy) Hackman, Vallonia, Brenda (Abdu) Taguri, Bartow, Fla.; one brother, Paul Snyder, Seymour; one sister, Mildred Marling, Indianapolis; six grandchildren, Daphne (Andy) Waskom, Brownstown, K.C. (Melissa) Hackman, Upland, Michael (Jessica) Cunningham, Lexington, Ky., Michelle Cunningham, Indianapolis, Mohamed (Jaimee) Taguri, Auburndale, Fla., Leila Taguri, Bartow, Fla.; three great-grandchildren, Brady Waskom, Taigur Taguri and Kinlee Hackman. She was preceded in death by one brother, Wilbur Snyder. Pastor Eric Ahlemyer will conduct the funeral services at 11 a.m. Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Vallonia. Burial will take place at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Vallonia. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at Johnson Funeral Home, Vallonia, and from 10 a.m. until time of service Monday at the church. Memorials may be given to Trinity Lutheran Church Building Fund or Lutheran Hour.
