Seymour Daily Tribune Phillip D. Hanley August 28, 2006 Nov. 13, 1923 – Aug. 27, 2006 Phillip D. Hanley, 82, a resident of Crothersville since 1997 and formerly of Wnter Haven, Fla., died at 1:10 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 27, 2006, at Schneck Medical Center, Seymour. Mr. Hanley was a retired welder. Born Nov. 13, 1923, in Michigan, he was the son of Raymond and Pearl (Green) Hanley, both of whom preceded him in death. On March 29, 1944, he married Norma Copenhaver. She preceded him in death on Aug. 5, 2005. Survivors include two daughters, Lorraine Collman, Crothersville, and Sally Hale, Lakeland, Fla.; four grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, and four step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn McLauchlin, Flint, Mich.; a brother, Raymond Hanley, Detroit; and one infant sibling. The Rev. Jerry Miles will conduct funeral services at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Adams Funeral Home, Crothersville. Burial will take place at Uniontown Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until time of service Tuesday at Adams Funeral Home, Crothersville. Memorial gifts may be given to Lighthouse Tabernacle building fund or Uniontown Cemetery.
