Seymour Daily Tribune May 13, 2002 Annie Laurie Harris Annie Laurie Harris, 86, Seymour, died at 5:40 p.m. Friday, May 10, 2002, at Columbus Regional Hospital after an extended illness. Ms. Harris worked as a receptionist for radio station WRNL in Richmond, Va., during World War II. She also was an antique dealer for 40 years, retiring in 1985. She lived in Rochester, N.Y., for 35 years; she was a member of Brick Presbyterian Church in Rochester and very active in church and community affairs. She also lived in Rogers City, Mich., for 25 years until she moved to Seymour in 1997. Born March 9, 1916, in Richmond, Va., she was a daughter of William T. Redick and Clara Dobbs Redick, who preceded her in death. She married Franklin W. Harris and he also preceded her. She is survived by a son, Roger D. (Janice) Harris, San Diego, Calif.; and a sister, Elizabeth R. Owens, Seymour. She also was preceded by a brother, William Redick. Private services will be held Wednesday in Richmond, Va. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Richmond, Va. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Myers Funeral Service, Burkholder Chapel, Seymour. Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice, through the funeral home.
