Nell Hawkins
Nell Hawkins, 71, Scottsburg, died Friday, March 15, 2002, at Scott Memorial Hospital, Scottsburg.
Mrs. Hawkins was a retired quality control manager for the old Amaray International in Pekin, where she worked from 1977 to 1997.
Born Oct. 15, 1930, near McMinnville, Tenn., she was a daughter of Robert Fish and Maude Raymond. She married Henry Hawkins, who died March 11, 1989.
Survivors include a daughter, Brenda Martin, Scottsburg; two sons, Roger Hawkins, Austin, and Lonnie Hawkins, Salem; two sisters, Bobbie Stovall, Louisville, and Leslie Standifer, California; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and Marion Glass, Scottsburg.
The Rev. Steve Gwaltney was to have conducted services at 3 p.m. Sunday at Collins Funeral Home, Scottsburg. Burial was to be in Scottsburg Cemetery.
