Seymour Tribune - September 2, 2009 Dorpha M. (Wade) Heagle 1920 - 2009 Dorpha M. Heagle, 88, Seymour, passed away at 12:05 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2009, surrounded by her loving family. Dorpha was a member of First Church of the Nazarene, Seymour. She was a homemaker, faithful Christian, loving mother and grandmother and a true friend to everyone. Born Dec. 12, 1920, in Russell Springs, Ky., she was the daughter of C.C. and Eppie Rexroat Wade, both of whom preceded her in death. On March 21, 1943, in North Vernon, she married William Eddie Heagle, who preceded her in death Jan. 11, 1999. Survivors include children, Donald Heagle, Marsha (John) Baker and Karen (Tom) Gonzales; six grandchildren, Belinda (Bruce) McIntosh, Kelly (Regina) Heagle, Christina Orner, Matthew Orner, Tamara (Albert) Rojas and Rachel (David) Rico; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by six brothers, Arnold Wade, Herbert Wade, Amos Wade, Irel Wade, David Wade and James Wade, and two sisters, Arie Unger and Mary Aeschbocker. The Rev. Steve Barrett and the Rev. Mark Wooten will conduct funeral services at 10 a.m. Saturday at First Church of the Nazarene, Seymour. Burial will follow at Vernon Cemetery, with a Voss dove tribute. Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the church. Arrangements are being handled by Voss & Sons Funeral Service, Seymour.
