Seymour Daily Tribune March 18, 2002 Mabel Fern Hendricks Mabel Fern Hendricks, 84, North Vernon, died at 6:40 p.m. Friday, March 15, 2002, at Columbus Health and Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Hendricks was a homemaker and was a former Foster Grandparent, serving for 15 years. She enjoyed sewing and embroidering and attended North Vernon Church of Christ. Born June 18, 1917, in Nebraska, Ind., she was a daughter of William Sherman Davidson and Isabell Collins Davidson. In 1936 she married Woodford Gault, who preceded her in death. On Sept. 12, 1958, she married Hubert H. Hendricks, who died Oct. 30, 1967. Survivors include two sons, Raymond E. Gault, North Vernon, and Robert L. Gault, Charleston, S.C.; two daughters, Barbara Gault and Rosie Marie Coleman, both of North Vernon; 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Jack Woodford Gault; a grandson, Stacie Gault; six brothers, Paul Davidson, William Davidson Jr., Jack Davidson, Raymond Davidson, John Davidson and George Davidson; and a sister, Alberta Davidson. The Rev. Edward Wooddell Jr. will conduct services at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Dove-Sharp and Rudicel Funeral Home, North Vernon. Burial will be in Vernon Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials may be given through the funeral home to the American Cancer Society.
