Seymour Daily Tribune January 6, 2007 Venus V. Henry Oct. 10, 1949 - Jan. 5, 2007 Venus V. Henry, 57, Seymour, died Friday, Jan. 5, 2007, at Schneck Medical Center, Seymour. Miss Henry was a member of First Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed ceramics, crocheting and spending time with her niece and nephew. She also enjoyed writing to pen pals. Born Oct. 10, 1949, in Seymour, she was the daughter of Earl and Evelyn C. Jerrell Henry. Her father preceded her in death and her mother survives. Other survivors include a brother, Jeff (Terri) Henry, Seymour; a niece and nephew, Briana and Jordan Henry, Seymour; stepmother, Doris Clyne, Seymour; uncles, Mulford Jerrell, Seymour, and Leonard Jerrell, Madison; and several cousins. She was preceded in death by an infant brother, Ricky Joe Henry; maternal grandparents, Harry and Lula Jerrell; paternal grandparents, Frank and Irene Hall; and several aunts and uncles. The Rev. Steve Greene and the Rev. Dennis Allman will conduct funeral services at 1 p.m. Monday at Voss Chapel, Seymour. Burial will take place at Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday and from noon until time of service Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, First Church of the Nazarene or Seymour Christ Temple.
