May Hensley
May Hensley, 88, Seymour, died at 4:30 p.m. Friday, May 10, 2002, at Memorial Hospital, Seymour. She had been in failing health.
Mrs. Hensley was a homemaker. She moved to Jackson County in 2001.
Born May 26, 1913, in Cameron, Okla., she was a daughter of Bud Patterson and Dora Star Patterson.
She is survived by a daughter, Alice Robbins, Seymour; three sons, Bill Applegate, Arizona, and David Hensley and Eugene Applegate, both of Oklahoma; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Ted Patterson, Texas; a sister, Lorene Smith, New Mexico; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded by her parents; her husband, James Hensley; a brother and a sister.
The Rev. Nathan Phillips will conduct funeral services at 1 p.m. Monday at Voss and Sons Funeral service, Voss Chapel, Seymour. Burial will be at Acme Cemetery.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until time of services Monday at the funeral home.
