Fern L. Hillebrand
Fern L. Hillebrand, 83, Paris Crossing, died at 3:05 a.m. today, Monday, Feb. 11, 2002, at Memorial Hospital, Seymour.
Mrs. Hillebrand was a member of Marion Baptist Church and Order of Eastern Star. She lived most of her life in Jackson County, but lived 27 years in Jennings County.
Born Nov. 13, 1918, at Seymour, she was a daughter of Henry Klakamp and Ida Emhuff Klakamp. On Feb. 10, 1940, in Bedford, she married Lawrence W. Hillebrand, who died in 1996.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Charles (Anna Mae) Knott and Mrs. Garnett (Pam) Cooper, both of Paris Crossing, and Mrs. Lynn (Mary) Steinkamp, Vallonia; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several stepgrandchildren; and several stepgreat-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
The Rev. James Goble will conduct services at 1 p.m. Thursday at Voss and Sons Funeral Service, Voss Chapel, Seymour. Burial will be in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Seymour.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from noon until time of service Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given to Jackson County Home Health or Marion Baptist Church.
