Mrs. Rose Ann (Vogel) Hill
1932 - 2009 
Rose Ann Hill, 76, Seymour, passed away at 12:50 a.m. Wednesday, June 3, 2009, in the care of her family members at her home.
Mrs. Hill was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Daughters of Isabella and the Over 50's Club, all of Seymour. She was a graduate of Shields High School and worked for the Indiana Telephone Co. She then worked for the Seymour Community School Corp., where she retired as a cook. She loved her children and grandchildren, playing cards, especially euchre, working in the yard and crocheting.
Born Sept. 6, 1932, in Seymour, she was the daughter of Nicholas and Leona Speckner Vogel, both of whom preceded her in death. On May 4, 1957, in Seymour, she married Richard "Dick" Hill, who preceded her in death Nov. 23, 2008.
She will be greatly missed by her two sons, Daniel Allen Hill and David Lee (JoAnn) Hill; daughter, Barbara Ann Hill; six grandchildren, Luke Hill, Samantha Hill, Nathan Toppe, Jacob Toppe, Logan Hill and Richie Hill; one great-grandson, Braiden Toppe; and two sisters, Rita (Robert) Novick and Barbara (Tom) Dugan.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Raymond Vogel, Carl Vogel and John Vogel, and two sisters, Marie Alongi and Virginia McCauley.
Father Todd Goodson and Father Joseph Sheets will conduct a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Friday at Voss Chapel, Seymour. Graveside services will follow at Riverview Cemetery in Seymour with a Voss dove tribute.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. until time of service Friday at the funeral home. A rosary service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
