Seymour Daily Tribune Stephen A. Hodapp September 30, 2006 Stephen A. Hodapp, 56, Kokomo, died at 3:52 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 28, 2006, at Howard Regional Health System. Mr. Hodapp worked as an engineer for Delphi since 1972. In 1968, he graduated from Seymour High School, and in 1978, he graduated from Purdue University. He served in the United States Army from 1970-1972. He was an active member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and was instrumental in the initiation of Christ Renews His Parish program. He also participated in the ELM program and the Family Life Team. He enjoyed reading, woodworking and spending time with his family. Born June 6, 1950, in Seymour, he was the son of Donald and Florence Tracy Hodapp, both of whom preceded him in death. On April 29, 1995, he married Libby Bridwell Hodapp. She survives. Other survivors include three daughters, Kristin and Aaron Kosberg, Kokomo, Brielle Vetesy of Westfield, and Sarah and Coley Bevington of Kokomo; a stepdaughter, Elizabeth Ennis, Lafayette; a stepson, Matthew and Margaret Tarkington, Salt Lake City; grandchildren, Corrynn, Jadon, Michael, Isabella, Lily, Ivan, Parker, Bayci, Brittany, Makayla and Joseph; four brothers, Ed and Georgia Hodapp, St. Ann, Missouri, Dave and Ruth Hodapp and Mike and Cheryl Hodapp, both of Seymour, and Mark Hodapp, Schererville; and several nieces and nephews. The Rev. Father Theodore C. Dudzinski will conduct funeral services at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Kokomo. Burial will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel, 3400 S. Webster St., Kokomo. Rosary will be recited at 5:30 p.m. Memorial may be given to St. Patrick Catholic Church.
