Seymour Daily Tribune December 1, 2006 Marilyn J. Hoene Marilyn J. Hoene, 75, Seymour, died at 10:08 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2006, at Lutheran Community Home, Seymour. Mrs. Hoene was a homemaker who formerly worked at Hoosier Parts, Immanuel Lutheran School cafeteria and Harry and Faye's Restaurant at Freeman Field. She was a longtime member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and its Immanuel Guild. She was also a member of Pine Ridge Extension Homemakers and Past Presidents of County Extension Homemakers and was a charter member of Smalltown Quilt Guild. Born Feb. 28, 1931, in Vallonia, she was a daughter of Edna Melloncamp and Raymond Hackman, both of whom preceded her in death. On Sept. 30, 1951, in Vallonia, she married Orville Hoene, who preceded her in death. Survivors include three daughters, Judy (William) Wonning, Seymour, Kathy (Dennis) Humphrey, Southport, and Carla (Gary) Cockerham, Seymour; a sister, Donna (William) Bonitz, Indianapolis; and five grandchildren, Seth and Louis Wonning, Nicolas and Nathan Humphrey and Whitney Cockerham. The Rev. Philip E. Bloch, the Rev. Jimmy Rodriguez, the Rev. Ralph Blomenberg and Vicar Charles Ferry will conduct funeral services at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Burial will take place at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Seymour. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at Voss Chapel, Seymour, and from 9:30 a.m. until time of service Monday at the church. Memorials may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church, Schneck Medical Cancer Center or Lutheran Community Home.
