Marjorie L. Hoffman, 85, Commiskey, died at 3:45 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2006, at Covered Bridge Health Campus.
Mrs. Hoffman was a homemaker and a member of Marion Baptist Church.
Born Aug. 12, 1921, in Iowa, she was a daughter of Wilbur and Enide Eacret, both of whom preceded her in death. On Dec. 10, 1938, in Uniontown, she married Clarence D. Hoffman, who preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son, Ernest L. (Connie Sue) Hoffman, Commiskey; a grandchild, John D. (Connie L.) Hoffman; and two great-grandchildren, Deanna and Steven Pennycuff.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Pauline Eacret Jackson, and a brother, Leo "Bud" Eacret.
The Rev. Mike Cantrell will conduct funeral services at 2 p.m. Saturday at Voss Chapel, Seymour.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and from 1 p.m. until time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given to the American Heart Association or Schneck Medical Cancer Center.
