Carlie Holland
Carlie Holland, 67, Brooksville, Fla., died Monday, Jan. 21, 2002, at Brooksville Regional Hospital.
Mrs. Holland was a retired beautician and had worked at Arvin Industries. She was a member of Austin Christian Church.
Born Dec. 8, 1933, in Breathitt County, Ky., she was a daughter of Fred Combs and Mae Oaks Combs.
Survivors include two sons, Donald Lynn Holland, Brooksville, Fla., and Thomas Holland, Knox; a daughter, Bonnie Holland, Columbus; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a brother, William Combs, North Carolina; and two sisters, Esther Akemon, Scottsburg, and Fredda Burns, Austin.
The Rev. Bobby Spicer will conduct funeral services at 11 a.m. Saturday at Buchanan Funeral Home, Austin. Burial will be in New Providence Cemetery, Austin.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
