Seymour Daily Tribune Elmer F. Holle Dec. 13, 1914 – July 15, 2006 Elmer F. Holle, 91, Seymour, died at 4:28 a.m. Saturday, July 15, 2006, at Lutheran Community Home, Seymour. Mr. Holle was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Sauers, and was a farmer. He was a 1933 graduate of Brownstown Central High School and was a member of Sauers Men Club, Tri Kappa Euchre and Lutheran Layman’s League. Born Dec. 13, 1914, in Vallonia, he was a son of John Henry Holle and Lydia Dorothea Ernst, both of whom preceded him in death. On Dec. 22, 1940, in Wegan, he married Martha Wessel, who also preceded him in death on Nov. 22, 1999. Survivors include two sons, Allan (Susie) Holle, and Michael (Debbie) Holle, both of Seymour; five grandchildren, Lori (Jeff) Stidham, Hayden, Brad Holle, Seymour, Leigh (Kurt) Sundling, Noblesville, Terry (Tina) Holle, Hayden, and Ryan Holle, Seymour and nine great-grandchildren, Ethan Stidham, Aviendha Sundling, Kilarendha Sundling, Lethridge Sundling, Kaylarendha Sundling, Loudenridge Sundling, Lacie Holle, Isaac Holle and Jenna Holle. He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Bertha Carol Holle, on March 8, 2003. The Rev. Craig Muhlbach will conduct funeral services at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Sauers. Burial will take place at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Sauers. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Brownstown, and from 9 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at the church. Memorials may be given to Sauers Cemetery Fund or Lutheran Community Home.
