Esta Hubbard

Esta Hubbard, 90, Kurtz, died at 10:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 26, 2006, at her daughter's home in Kurtz.
Mrs. Hubbard was of the Christian faith and was a homemaker.
Born Jan. 23, 1916, in Vallonia, she was a daughter of Virgil Leroy Hall and Anna I. McHargue Hall, both of whom preceded her in death. On Jan. 27, 1932, in Vallonia, she married Alfred Lee Hubbard, who died March 17, 1996.
Survivors include six children, Larmie Dean (Sherry) Hubbard, Kurtz, Garry (Joyce) Hubbard, South Carolina, Nickie Rae (Vickie) Hubbard, Bedford, Lorna Collins, Brownstown, Greta (Walter) Wilson, Kurtz, and Nelda (Charles) Herrald, Anderson; 20 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, LaVilla Darlene Hubbard, and a sister, Dorthy Hall Prince.
David Ison will conduct funeral services at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Johnson Funeral Home, Vallonia. Burial will take place at Vallonia Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from noon until time of service Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given to Schneck Medical Center Hospice.
