Erma E. Huffman
Erma E. Huffman, 95, of Seymour and formerly of Columbus, died at 12 p.m. Tuesday, May 07, 2002, at Lutheran Community Home, Seymour.

Mrs. Huffman was a homemaker and a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Columbus. She was a Columbus resident until she moved to Seymour 12 years ago.


Born Dec. 12, 1906, in Galva, Iowa, she was a daughter of Clause and Margartte Hahnkamp Mohn. On Dec. 22, 1926, in Iowa, she married Ellsworth Huffman and he died Sept. 27, 1990.


She is survived by a daughter, Barbara O’Brien, Simi Valley, Calif.; two sons, Irving Huffman, Richmond, and Wilbur Huffman, Kokomo; two brothers, Arnold Mohn, Story City, Iowa, and Eitel Mohn, Cherokee, Iowa; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.


She was also was preceded by two sisters, Elfrieda Williams and Edna Christensen; and two brothers, Herbert Mohn and William Mohn.


Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Myers Funeral service, Reed and Jewell Chapel, Columbus. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery, Columbus.


Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of services Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Riley Hospital for Children.
