Seymour Tribune - April 14, 2009 Patricia Dianne (Walker) Hughes 1952 - 2009 Patricia Dianne Hughes, 56, rural Crothersville, passed away at 12:35 p.m. Thursday, May 14, 2009, at her home with her loving family by her side. A lifelong resident of the area, Patricia was a 1970 Crothersville High School graduate, attended Louisville Business College and retired from Valeo Sylvania after working for 27 years. She was a member of the Ladies Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary Post 1083 in Crothersville and enjoyed going to the Derby Dinner Playhouse. Patricia truly loved her grandchildren and they were the light of her life. Born Aug. 1, 1952, in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of Wilbur "Sonny" Walker, who survives in Crothersville, and Jessie Mae Disbro Walker, who preceded her in death April 7, 1991. She married Jerry Wayne Hughes on July 6, 1990, and he preceded her in death Aug. 27, 2001. Survivors include two sons, Hetch Scott Muncy, Crothersville, and Chad Michael (Tammy) Hughes, Jonesville; two daughters, Kelly Dawn Muncy (Chad) Hardy, Salem, and Gina Marlene (Billy) Blair, Columbus; five grandchildren, Alix and Damon Hardy, Salem, Morgan Muncy, Crothersville, Gaven Hughes, Jonesville, and Cheyenne Blair, Columbus; one sister, Brenda K. (Mike) Brown; and three brothers, Ralph C. Walker, Larry G. Walker and Jerry D. Walker, all of Crothersville. She was preceded in death by a baby grandson, Branson Michael Hetch Muncy. Pastor Bart Smith will conduct funeral services at 1 p.m. Sunday at Adams Funeral Home in Crothersville, with burial to follow at Cana Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and from 11 a.m. until time of service Sunday at the funeral home.
