The Tribune Seymour, Indiana Thursday, October 12, 1916 Page 1 YOUNG WOMAN AT VALLONIA IS FOUND DEAD IN BED Miss Adda Hunsucker Dies Suddenly of Heart Trouble-Daughter of Samuel Hunsucker. Miss Adda Hunsucker, aged thirty-six years, was found dead in bed this morning at her home in Vallonia. She had not been in the best of health for some time but called on friends between 8 and 9 o'clock Wednesday night and upon her return home did not indicate that she was not feeling so well. About midnight, however, she suffered an attack of heart trouble and her condition became so alarming that a physician was called. In a short time after medical treatmet was administered she rested easier and her death was not discovered until about 6 o'clock when members of the household entered her room. Heart trouble is assigned as the immediate cause of her death. Miss Hunsucker was the daughter of Samuel Hunsucker for whom she kept house in Vallonia. Her mother has been dead several years. She was born in Vallonia and lived there throughout her life. She was a member of the Christian church and took an active part in church work. She was a highly esteemed young woman and her sudden death was a shock to her numerous friends. The deceased is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Henry Aldredge and Mrs. Kirby Smith, of Vallonia, Miss Nera Hunsucker, assistant cashier of the Medora State Bank, and Mrs. T.J. Ewing, of Aurora. She was also a sister-in-law of Mrs. Cora Hunsucker, of this city.
