Seymour Daily Tribune February 2, 2007 Leta Mae Hunter Leta Mae Hunter, 87, Seymour, died at 5:15 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 1, 2007, at Schneck Medical Center, Seymour. Mrs. Hunter was a homemaker and a member of Central Christian Church, where she belonged to Loyal Devoir. Born July 28, 1919, in Gibson City, Ill., she was a daughter of Roscoe and Sarah Cullip, both of whom preceded her in death. On Sept. 2, 1939, in Brownstown, she married Woodford "Woody" Hunter, who also preceded her in death. Survivors include two daughters, Helen (Jack) Stamper and Janet (Dutch) Stamper, and a son, Ron (Brenda) Hunter, all of Indiana; seven grandchildren, Scott, Gary, Travis, Aaron, Jennifer, Rebecca and Mike; seven great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Cecil Cullip; a sister, Jean Daisley; and a grandson, Scott Stamper. The Rev. Rick Grant will conduct funeral services at 2 p.m. Sunday at Voss Chapel, Seymour. Burial will take place at Vernon Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and from 1 p.m. until time of service Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to Central Christian Church, Schneck Medical Cancer Center or donor's choice.
