Seymour Daily Tribune - Friday, January31, 1986 William M. Hunt services Monday William M. Hunt, 89, of 436 Mutton Creek Drive, Seymour, died at 6:15 a.m. today at his home. Mr. Hunt was a retired farmer and served in the military in World War I. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Jennings, American Legion post 89 and Knights of Columbus of Seymour. He was born Nov. 4, 1896, in Jennings County to Michael Hunt and Sarah Sprenger Hunt, both deceased. He lived all of his life in Jackson and Jennings counties. He was married Nov. 30, 1939, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Rose Kopfhammer, who survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Sister Joann Hunt, OSB, Beech Grove; and Mrs. Thomas (Carol) Tiedemann, Greenwood, a son, William J. Hunt, Seymour; two sisters, Emma Richart, Seymour R7; and Flora Faust, New Albany; and five grandchildren, Tina and Todd Hunt, Seymour; Daniel, Derek and Cindy Tiedemann, Greenwood. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Jennings County, with Rev. Jim Arneson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Military services will be conducted at graveside. Friends may call from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday and from 8:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. Monday at Voss Chapel, Seymour. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
