Seymour Daily Tribune February 27, 2002 Grace Lloyd B. Imlay Grace Lloyd B. Imlay, 95, Seymour, died at 8:35 a.m. Monday, Feb. 25, 2002, at Memorial Hospital, Seymour. Mrs. Imlay was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Borchers, and was retired from The Tribune in Seymour, where she had been a print setter and proofreader. She was a member of Kum Join Us Extension Homemakers and had received a secretarial degree from the Seymour Women’s Business School. Born March 10, 1906, at Acme, she was a daughter of Jacob A. Brackemyre and Bertha June Meyer Brackemyre. On Aug. 28, 1932, at Sellersburg, she married Clifford E. Imlay, who died Feb. 3, 1989. Survivors include three sons, Bertram R. (Donna L.) Imlay, Stephen D. (Peggy) Imlay and Michael B. (Frances) Imlay, all of Seymour; Clara Imlay, Richland, widow of son David Lloyd Imlay; a brother, Wilford Brackemyre, Seymour; three sisters, Elizabeth Traylor, Zionsville, and Harriet Miller and Ruth Elsner, both of Seymour; 13 grandchildren, Ina Breeden, Vincent Imlay, Lewis Imlay, David E. Imlay, Barbara Imlay Driskell, Kevin L. Imlay, Adam Imlay, Christine Vogel, Nancy Holley, Anita M. Smith, Traci Yoder, Lynn Engelking and Patrick Imlay; 31 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, David Lloyd Imlay; five brothers, Paul, J. Allen, George, Keith and William; a sister, Wilma Davis; two great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Bob Sullivan will conduct services at noon Friday at Voss and Sons Funeral Service, Voss Chapel, Seymour. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 11 a.m. until time of service Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Borchers, or donor’s choice.
