Seymour Daily Tribune Michael Brian Imlay October 4, 2006 April 13, 1945 - Oct. 4, 2006 Michael Brian Imlay died Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2006. Mr. Imlay graduated from Cortland High School and attended Franklin College. He worked at Cummins Engine Co. for 39 years as a machine repairman and retired in 2003. He was a member of St. Ambrose Church, a past master of Jonesville 216 Masonic Lodge and a member of 6 Mile Lodge 412 Hayden Masonic Lodge. Born April 13, 1945, in Jackson County, he was a son of Clifford Ellsworth Imlay and Grace Lloyd Brackemyre Imlay, both of whom preceded him in death. In July 1965, he married Frances Marie Vogel, who survives. Other survivors include four children, Anita Smith, Seymour, Traci [Tony] Yoder, Scipio, Lynn [Russell] Engelking, Seymour, and Patrick Michael Imlay, Louisville; nine grandchildren, Tyler Smith, Derek Smith, Jessica Yoder, Joseph Yoder, Rachel Yoder, Abraham Yoder, Benjamin Yoder, Brooke Engelking and Brittany Engelking; and two brothers, Bertum Imlay and Stephen Imlay. He was preceded in death by a brother, David Imlay. Father Todd Goodson will conduct services at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Seymour. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Voss Chapel, Seymour, and from 9 a.m. until time of service Friday at the church. A Masonic service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Voss Chapel. Memorials may be given to St. Ambrose Catholic School.
