Seymour Daily Tribune April 5, 2002 Charles H. Ingram Charles H. Ingram, 88, Vernon, died at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2002, at Jennings Health Care Center, North Vernon. Mr. Ingram was a self-employed bricklayer, retiring after 50 years. He enjoyed coon hunting, fishing and gardening, and was proud that his father had fought in the Civil War. Born Dec. 13, 1913, in Sycamore, Mo., he was a son of Barney May Ingram and Uzetta Ann Hendrix Ingram, who both preceded him in death. On March 6, 1954, in Plymouth, he married Roberta “Bo” Breeck and she survives. He also is survived by two stepsons, Bob Barber and Bill Arthur, both of North Vernon and six step-grandchildren. He also was preceded in death by a brother, Lee Ingram; two half-brothers and a half-sister. Bob Barber will conduct graveside funeral services at 10 a.m. Monday at Vernon Cemetery, Vernon. Burial will be at Vernon Cemetery. No visitation will be held. Funeral arrangements are through Dove-Sharp and Rudicel Funeral Home, North Vernon. Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Hospice of Jennings County.
