Seymour Daily Tribune June 19, 2006 Carrie Anne Jackson Carrie Anne Jackson, 27, Seymour, has died. Born Dec. 8, 1978, in Seymour, she was a daughter of James Ponder and Lisa Chisham Morris, both of whom survive. On Aug. 28, 2001, in Brownstown, she married Moses A. Jackson, who also survives. Other survivors include her stepfather, Tony Ruddick; three children, Shea Elizabeth Gardner, Macey Graceland Jackson and Moses A. Jackson II; two brothers, Casey Morris and Jimmy John Burkhart; three sisters, Toni Ruddick, Jessi Morris and Ashley Burkhart; maternal grandmother, Joby Moore; paternal grandparents, Rudy and Earnestine Ponder McIntosh; maternal great-grandmother, Margaret Tabor; aunts and uncles, Rick Chisham, John and Susan Ponder, Kenny Ponder, Sandy and Ralph Delmotte, Brenda Thompson and Ted and Debbie Mellencamp; mother-in-law, Ruth Wilson; her first husband, Mike Gardner; and several cousins, great-uncles and great-aunts. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Richard Chisham; paternal grandfather, James Ponder; maternal great-grandparents, Ed and Betty Leckermeyer and Robert Chisham; and paternal great-grandparents, Ernest and Ruby Huey and Walter and Lucille Ponder. The Rev. Gary Dyer will conduct funeral services at 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. Paul Church of Christ, Seymour. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home and from noon until time of service Wednesday at the church. Memorials may be given to her children.
