Seymour Tribune - August 26, 2009 Adolph David Jaeger Adolph David Jaeger, 74, of Seymour, passed away at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2009, at the home of his son. Dave was born in Bartholomew County on July 25, 1935, the son of Adolph William and Eva Dell Rambo Jaeger. On Feb. 13, 1969, in Seymour, he married Mildred Louise Jaynes, who survives. He graduated from Columbus High School in 1953. Dave was also a U.S. Army veteran. He retired in 1987 from Cummins Engine Co. Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Nancy Cockerham; son, David A. Jaeger; stepdaughter, Debra Belanger; grandchildren, Nick Cockerham, Mark Cockerham, Luke Cockerham, William David Jaeger and Ronni Ellen Jaeger; stepgrandchildren, David Burke, Felicia Booker and Berry Burke; brother, Meredith D. Jaeger; one niece, Marsha (Mike) Wheeler; and one nephew, Mike (Tina) Jaeger. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, June D. Jaeger. Friends may call at Voss Chapel, Seymour, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday. Graveside services will be held at Chestnut Ridge Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. Saturday with Rev. William Homer Roberts officiating.
