Seymour Tribune - February 26, 1986 Frank Jaynes services Friday Frank Jaynes, 74, of 1066 Dutchman Lane, Seymour, died at 9:43 p.m. Tuesday at Jackson County Schneck Memorial hospital, Seymour. He had been ill for two days. Mr. Jaynes retired in 1974 from Arvin Industries and was a member of Apostolic Pentecostal Tabernacle. He was bor Feb. 9, 1912, in Seymour, to Joseph and Cora Woodson Jaynes. He was married Sept. 3, 1938, in Seymour, to Agnes Arnold, who survives. Other survivors include six children, Mrs. Frd (Linda) Shepherd, Puxico, MO; Mrs Monty (Terri) Hampton, Dexter MO; Derald Jaynes, Long Beach, Calif; Jerry Joe Jaynes, Jerald Jaynes, and Marsha G. Jaynes, all of Seymour; two brothers, Noble Jaynes, St. Marys, Ohio; and Millard Jaynes, Seymour R7; a sister, Mrs. Frank (Madge) Jaynes, Seymour R4; 12 grandchildren and a great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, four bothers, three sisters and two sons. The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Voss Chapel, Seymour, with the Rev. Dennis Croucher officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. Thursday and from 11:30 a.m. Friday until the time of services at the funeral home. Memorials may be sent to Apostolic Pentecostal Tabernacle.
