Seymour Tribune - November 18, 1985 Homer Jaynes services Wednesday Homer E. Jaynes 43, of 705 E. Brown St., Seymour, died at 2:55 p.m. Sunday in the Jackson County Schneck Memorial Hospital emergency room. He had been ill for two weeks. Mr. Jaynes was a member of Seymour Christ Temple and was a former Seymour city employee. He was born March 13, 1942, in Seymour, to Claude R. and Fannie F. Wilkerson Jaynes. His mother survives in Seymour. He was maried June 5, 1980, in Seymour, to Linda Luckey, and she survives. Other survivors include a step-daughter, Sherry Kinworthy, at home; three brothers, Roscoe N. Jaynes, Elizabethtown, and Harold and Wilbur Jaynes, bot of Seymour; and four sisters, Mrs James (Dorothy) Lucas, Seymour R3; Mrs. Willard (Norma) Strom, Victoria, IL; Mrs. David (Mildred) Jaeger and Mrs. Joseph (Sandra) Asher, both of Seymour. He wasprededed in death by his father, three sisters and two brothers. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wdnesday at Voss Chapel, Seymour, with the Rev. Dennis Allman officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Seymour. Friends may call from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 8:30 a.m. until the time of services Wednesday at the funeral home.
