Seymour Daily Tribune Iva L. Eisele Jaynes February 17, 1919 - August 16, 1997 Iva L. Eisele Jaynes, 78 of Seymour, died at 3:45 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, 1997, at her home. Mrs. Jaynes worked for Seymour Woolen Mill and H.O. Canfield. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene, Seymour. Born Feb. 17, 1919, in Lawrence County, she was a daughter of Everett and Mary Weininger Eisele. In May 1936, in Seymour, she married Robert A Jaynes and he died Sept. 13, 1990. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Eli "Sam" (Phyllis) Deaton, Crothersville and Connie Garrett, Seymour; a sister, Bonnie Baker, Seymour; three granddaughters, Cheryl Helton, Kimberly Staley and Beth Day, all of Seymour; a grandson, Greg Wilber, Crothersville; 10 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Luther Eisele and three sisters, Debbie Hercamp, Mabel Combs, and Geneva Pierce. Dr. B.G. Wiggs and Rev. Garrett Mills conducted services Aug. 19, 1997, at Voss Chapel, Seymour, with burial in Riverview Cemetery. Memorials may be made to First Church of the Nazarene.
