Seymour Daily Tribune January 10, 2007 Louise E. Jemison July 6, 1914 - Jan. 8, 2007 Louise E. Jemison, 92, Columbus, died at 9:14 a.m. Monday, Jan. 8, 2007, at Columbus Regional Hospital. Mrs. Jemison was formerly employed at Cummins Engine Co. and Cosco. She was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, Waymansville. Born July 6, 1914, in Waymansville, she was a daughter of Edward and Elizabeth Meyer Moorman, both of whom preceded her in death. On Jan. 17, 1953, she married James D. Jemison, who died Sept. 21, 1983. Survivors include two nieces, Donna Thomas, Columbus, and Marcia (Jim) Piper, Attica; two great-nieces, Beth (Scott) Burbrink and Susan (Joe) Arnholt, both of Columbus; a great-nephew, Max (Kelly) Thomas, Columbus; two great-great-nephews; and four great-great-nieces. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Irwin and Robert Moorman, and a sister, Leora Moorman. The Rev. Jon Beabout will conduct funeral services at 1 p.m. Thursday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home, Washington Street, Columbus. Burial will take place at Garland Brook Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. today and from noon until time of service Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to St. Peter Lutheran Church, Waymansville.
