Seymour Daily Tribune March 14, 2002 Dwight D. Johnson Dwight D. “Jake” Johnson, 45, of Snohomish, Wash., and formerly of Jackson County, died Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2002, at Lausanne, Switzerland. Mr. Johnson was of the Lutheran faith. He installed systems for phones. Born Aug. 27, 1956, at Seymour, he was the son of Dwight Johnson and Ethel “Sally” Abner Stephens. His mother survives in Brownstown. On Nov. 18, 1979, he married Joyce F. Guerin, who survives in Snohomish, Wash. Other survivors include two stepdaughters, Victoria Clark, Los Angeles, and Christie Trunkhill, Snohomish; two sisters, Teresa Bough, Avoca, and Tammy Burris, Seymour; three stepgrandchildren, Tessa, Anissa and Brianna; a stepfather, James Mike Stephens, Brownstown; a grandmother, Jannie Abner, Norman; four nieces, Jacki (Shane) Salemann, Kylee Bough, Ashlee Kriete and Nikki Kriete; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. The Rev. Mark Upchurch will conduct a memorial service at 2 p.m. Sunday at Hague Funeral Home, Medora. Burial took place Monday at Lynnwood, Wash. Friends may call from noon until time of the memorial service Sunday at the funeral home.
