Gary Dewayne Johnson

Gary Dewayne Johnson, 56, Medora, died at 11:15 a.m. Sunday, May 14, 2006, at Schneck Medical Center, Seymour.
Mr. Johnson worked several years at Medora Plastic Factory and several years at Seymour Housewares. He graduated from Medora High School in 1969. He was a member of Medora Christian Church and Carr Township Conservation Club.
Born July 9, 1949, in Seymour, he was a son of Sherman Johnson and Grace Violia Temple Johnson. He married Ruth Ann Nieweddie Johnson, who preceded him in death.
Survivors include a son, Freddie Johnson, Medora, and a nephew, Charles David Evans, Medora.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Lloyd Bolding, Melvin Johnson and Carl Johnson, and a sister, Imogene Evans.
The Rev. Stan Thomas will conduct funeral services at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hague Funeral Home, Medora. Burial will take place at Dixon Chapel Cemetery, Lawrence County.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. until time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given to Dixon Chapel Cemetery or Carr Township Conservation Club.
