Gladys I. Johnson

Gladys I. Johnson, 73, Seymour, died Friday, July 14, 2006, at Columbus Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Mrs. Johnson was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Seymour.
Born Dec. 18, 1932, in Seymour, she was a daughter of George and Ruth Foist Combs, both of whom preceded her in death. In 1948, she married Glenn F. Johnson, who also preceded her in death.
Survivors include four children, Peggy (Donny) Durham, Debbie (Louie) Kleber, Sondra (Sandy) Zink and Denise Walker, all of Seymour; five grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; a brother, Allan D. Combs, Seymour; and two sisters, Shirley A. Rinsch and Janet R. Turner, both of Seymour.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
The Rev. D.G. Morris will conduct a private memorial service at a later date.
Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society.
