Seymour Daily Tribune December 6, 2006 Michael Edward Jolly May 6, 1944 - Dec. 3, 2006 Michael Edward Jolly, 62, died Sunday, Dec. 3, 2006. Mr. Jolly was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and a dedicated employee of Cummins Engine Co. for more than 43 years. He was a member of North Green Country Club and of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church of Wilson, N.C. Born May 6, 1944, in Jackson County, he was a son of Ernest Edward and Marguerite Maud Pickerrell Jolly. His father survives, and his mother preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, Kathy; three daughters, Lori Jolly Baughman and fiancé, C. Frank Scott III, Culpeper, Va., Lisa Jolly Cockerham and fiancé Randy McCoy, Seymour, and Liane Jolly and significant other, Kevin Boone, Rocky Mount; four grandchildren, Katie Baughman (Brian) McCarthy, Sunbury, Pa., Reid Baughman and Kellen Baughman, Conyngham, Pa., and Brady Cockerhman, Seymour; two great-grandchildren, Natali McCarthy and Brody McCarthy; a brother, James P. (Debra) Jolly, Pocatello, Idaho; and two nephews, Phillip Jolly and Patrick Jolly. He was preceded in death by a sister, Marilyn Jolly. The Rev. John Drosendahl will conduct funeral services at 11 a.m. Thursday at First Christian Church. Friends may call from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home, Rocky Mount, N.C. Local services will be conducted by the Rev. Ottis Sauls and the Rev. Andrew Currao at 2 p.m. Saturday at Voss Chapel, Seymour. Burial will take place at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
