Elsie Harrell Jones
Elsie Harrell Jones, 82, Heltonville, passed away at 1:08 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 30, 2008, at Bloomington Hospital.
Mrs. Jones was a Pleasant Run trustee for 20 plus years and an Avon representative. She also worked in other sales jobs. She was a member of Mundell Christian Church and Eastern Star, Leesville.
Born Dec. 4, 1925, she was the daughter of Clarence Levi Harrell and Grace Eva McKnight, both of whom preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son, Gerald Jones, Heltonville; son-in-law, Robert "Johnny" Basinger, Heltonville; daughter, Cynthia Denniston, Norman; two sisters, Estey Cummings, Heltonville and Emma Morgan, Okla.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Jones; one infant son, Gregory Allen Jones; one daughter, Cecilia Sue "Susie" Basinger; two brothers, John N. Harrell and Elmer G. Harrell; and one sister, Florence "Anna" Beyers.
Brothers Jim Fisher and David Fisher will conduct funeral services at 1 p.m. Thursday at Mundell Christian Church. Burial will take place at Mundell Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Jones Funeral Home, Heltonville.
