Seymour Daily Tribune William D. Juett June 1, 2006 William D. “Punkie Bill” Juett, 85, Jennings County, died at 1:55 p.m. Tuesday, May 30, 2006, at Hospice of South Central Indiana, Columbus. Mr. Juett was a retired farmer and a true Democrat and was a member of Weston Baptist Church. He was instrumental in giving facts to Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge for an ongoing documentary. His ancestry was traced back to the Daniel Boone family. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed going to auctions and socializing with his family and friends. He attended Hayden High School. Born Oct. 9, 1920, Jennings County, he was a son of Frank and Cynthia Boone Juett, both of whom preceded him in death. Survivors include two sisters, Jean (Everett) Cottingham and Jessie Kleber; a sister-in-law, Marilyn (Roy) Motsinger; eight nephews, Ronald Cottingham, Jimmy (Sandy) Cottingham, Bob (Aimee) Cottingham, Sam (JoAnn) Juett, Chris (Jenny) Kleber, Jeff (Bonita) Kleber, Dan (Deena) Kleber and Warren Kleber; a niece, Cindy (Jeff) Rider; 18 great-nieces and –nephews; and three great-great-nieces. He was preceded in death by a brother, Melvin R. Juett, and a brother-in-law, John Kleber. The Rev. Bill Cordes will conduct funeral services at 10 a.m. Saturday at Voss Chapel, Seymour. Burial will take place at Vernon Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to Weston Baptist Cemetery Fund or Jennings County Hospice.
