Seymour Daily Tribune Frances Kamman October 26, 2006 Aug. 6, 1915 - Oct. 21, 2006 Frances Kamman, 91, of Kinston, N.C., and formerly of Columbus, died Saturday, Oct. 21, 2006, at Spring Arbor Assisted Living Center, Kinston, N.C. Mrs. Kamman worked as assistant credit manager at Sears for 17 years. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Columbus. Born Aug. 6, 1915, in Lawrence County, she was a daughter of John I. and Verna Mathers Tolliver, both of whom preceded her in death. In June 1940, in Seymour, she married Willis Kamman, who also preceded her in death. Survivors include a daughter, Patty (Richard) Davis; a brother, Donald Tolliver, Mitchell; two grandchildren, Rick (Rena) Davis, Charleston, S.C., and Brad (Kellie) Davis, Raleigh, N.C.; four great-grandchildren, Willis, Clyde, Barrett and Eva Davis; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Lourin Endwright, Eulah Holcomb and Mable Griffith. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at Myers-Reed Dignity Memorial Chapel, 25th Street, Columbus. Burial will take place at Lutheran Cemetery, Seymour. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until time of service Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to St. Peter's Lutheran Church.
