Seymour Daily Tribune April 25, 2002 Victor P. Kennedy Victor P. Kennedy, 82, Seymour, died at 9:33 a.m. Wednesday, April 24, 2002, at Memorial Hospital, Seymour, following a brief illness. Mr. Kennedy served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II and was retired from Arvin Industries. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, the VFW and American Legion, all of Seymour. He lived his entire life in Jackson County. Born Feb. 29, 1920, in Jackson County, he was a son of Emmett M. Kennedy and Alvina Sophia Carrie Thomas, and they preceded him in death. He is survived by a nephew, Dennis Kasperlain; a brother, Marcus Kennedy, Seymour; and a sister, Nellie Kasperlain, Seymour. The Rev. Ralph Blomenberg will conduct funeral services at 10 a.m. Saturday at Voss and Sons Funeral service, Voss Chapel, Seymour. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until time of services Saturday at the chapel. Memorials may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church.
