Seymour Tribune - March 13, 2014 Robert H "Bob" Kiser (1934 - 2014) Obituary Robert H. "Bob" Kiser, 79, of Vallonia, passed away at 3:23 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2014, at his residence. Robert had worked for Jim's Body Shop in Seymour, and around 1969 went into business for himself as an auto body repairman and welder. He enjoyed antique engines and tractors. He, along with his family, greatly appreciated the help provided by his caretaker, Shirley Huff. Born October 30, 1934, in Jackson County, he was the son of William Henry Kiser and Dorothy (Hunsucker) Kiser, both of whom preceded him in death. On June 2, 1955, he married Bonnie M. Haley, who preceded him in death on February 23, 2004. Survivors include three children, Rosa L. (John) Fosbrink, Jerry (Sharrie) Kiser and Larry (Teresa) Kiser; two brothers, Don (Martha) Kiser and Frank (Madline) Kiser; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; one brother, Jim Kiser; and one sister, Virgie Goens. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Winklepleck-Weesner Funeral Home in Brownstown. Burial will take place at Lost River Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Campbellsburg. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday and from 10 a.m. until time of service Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to Hoosier Christian Village Auxiliary.
