Seymour Tribune Anna Lee Knight 1930 - 2009 Anna Lee Knight, 78, Seymour, passed away at 11:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 12, 2009, at Schneck Medical Center, Seymour. Anna graduated from Scottsburg High School and received her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in education from Ball State University. Retiring after a total of 30 years of educating students, she had taught at Fairview, Salem, Scottsburg, Orleans, Clarksville, Hanover College and Seymour Community Schools. Born Nov. 25, 1930, in Scottsburg, she was the daughter of Herman E. and Nora Bell Davis Richey, both of whom preceded her in death. On Dec. 28, 1956, in Vienna, she married Harry Prow Knight, who survives. Other survivors include her son, Harry Dwayne (Alicia) Knight; her daughter, Patricia Ann (David) Knight Koppenhaver; grandchildren, Jillian A. Knight, Lucas R. Knight and Kyle J. Koppenhaver; sisters, Alberteen Shields, Bettie Wickersham and Jane Harman; and a brother, Gerel Richey. She was preceded in death by a son, Michael Charles Knight; a sister, Lula Bell Roll; and a brother, Melvin Richey. Pastor David Carroll will conduct funeral services at 1 p.m. Friday at Voss Chapel, Seymour. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Crown Hill Cemetery, Salem. Friends may call from 10:30 a.m. until time of service Friday at the funeral home. The family will hold a Celebration of Life Gathering at 5 p.m. Friday at Chateau De Pique, 6361 N. 760E (Rockford Road), Seymour.
