Seymour Tribune - June 8, 2007 Joanne Ruth Knott Joanne Ruth Knott, 77, Elizabethtown, passed away Friday, June 8, 2007, at Hospice Inpatient Facility, Columbus. Mrs. Knott was a member of St. Bartholomew Church, Columbus. She was a secretary at Public Service Indiana and Arvin Industries. She went on to be a full-time homemaker. Joanne enjoyed bird watching, reading and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Born May 2, 1930, in Columbus, she was a daughter of Elmer E. and Gertrude Fulford Job, both of whom preceded her in death. On April 8, 1955, in Fairland, she married Gene J. Knott, who survives at Elizabethtown. Other survivors include a daughter, Terri (Peter) Gould, Bloomington; sons, Michael (Julie) Knott, Seymour, and Andrew (Denise) Knott, Interlochen, Mich.; granddaughters, Sarah Knott, Edinburgh, and Lisa Knott, Seymour; stepgrandchildren, Aimee Stout, Seymour, and Ariadne Baker-Dunn, Interlochen, Mich.; and brothers, Gale Job, Limestone, Tenn., and James Job, Hanover. She was preceded in death by a sister; Alma Rutan. Father Todd Goodson will conduct services at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Seymour. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Voss Chapel, Seymour, and from 9 a.m. until time of the Mass on Tuesday at the church.
