Seymour Daily Tribune Timothy S. Kovener July 27, 2006 Timothy S. Kovener, 30, Austin, died Wednesday, July 26, 2006, at Scottsburg. Mr. Kovener was employed with Hopkins & Company in construction. He was a graduate of Austin High School. He was a member of Baptized United Church of Christ in Crothersville. Born Jan. 3, 1976, he was a son of Cathy Jean Hopkins Morgan, Punta Gorda, Fla., and Scott Kovener, Crothersville. Survivors include his companion, Jill Bush, Austin; stepmother, Catherine Kovener, Crothersville; one daughter, Kimberley Paige Kovener, Austin; one son, Eugene James Lindsey Kovener, Austin; and a daughter due in November; three brothers, Justin Burns, Punta Gorda, Fla., Tommy Burns, Lakeland, Fla., Johnathan Burns, serving with the U.S. Army; three sisters, Casey Kovener, Scottsburg, Jennifer Snow, Seymour, Corey Snow, Crothersville; maternal grandparents, Jean Hopkins and Bill Leffler, Austin; paternal grandmother, Doris Kovener, Crothersville; uncles, Gary L. (Duscilla) Hopkins, Punta Gorda, Fla., Lindsey L. (Eva) Hopkins, Austin, Curt (Mary) Kovener, Whitney (Tracie) Kovener, both of Crothersville, Garth (Billie) Kovener, Seymour. He was preceded in death by a maternal grandfather, Louis P. Hopkins and paternal grandfather, Carl F. Kovener. The Rev. Todd Wooten will conduct funeral services at 11 a.m. Saturday at Adams Funeral Home, Crothersville. Burial will take place at Austin Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to his children's education fund or Carl F. Kovener Endowment Fund for the Crothersville Fire Department.
