Seymour Daily Tribune February 18, 2002 Arthur R. Kozik Arthur R. Kozik, 81, Seymour, died at 4:07 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, 2002, at Hoosier Christian Village, Brownstown, after an illness of several months. Mr. Kozik served with the U.S. Army 78th Lightning Division during World War II. He was a retired engineer and marketing representative for Jet Electronics. He was a member of Vallonia Christian Church, American Legion of Seymour, Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks 1917 in Culver City, Calif., Seymour Flying Club and Independent Order of Foresters. Born July 16, 1920, in Mansfield, Ohio, he was the son of Joseph Kozik and Daisy Rosella Schoff. On March 13, 1954, in Indianapolis, he married Mary Foster, who survives. Other survivors include a son, Rudy Russell Kozik, California; seven grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons, Richard Douglas Kozik and an infant, and two sisters, Dororthy Prosser and Josephine Columbus. Chris Criminger and Ken Jurgens will conduct services at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Johnson Funeral Home, Vallonia. Burial will be in Vallonia Cemetery. Full military graveside rites will be conducted. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until time of service Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to Hoosier Christian Village Auxiliary or Vallonia Christian Church Building Fund.
