Seymour Daily Tribune January 2, 2007 Clarke Krisher May 19, 1920 - Jan. 1, 2007 Clarke Krisher, 86, Seymour, died at 8:20 a.m. Monday, Jan. 1, 2007, at Schneck Medical Center, Seymour. Mr. Krisher was a member of Peace Lutheran Church - St. Paul's Sanctuary, Seymour, where he served on the church board. He was a member of Jackson County Masonic Lodge #146 F&AM, the Scottish Rite, the American Legion, and Seymour Elks Lodge #462. He graduated from Washington High School in Massillon, Ohio, and Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He was a U.S. Army Veteran who served during World War II with the 72nd Artillery Regiment in the Panama Canal and the Coastal Military Regiment in Hawaii. He was an underwriter for the former Hobbs Miller Insurance Company which is now Beatty Insurance Agency and retired after 18 years of service. Born May 19, 1920, in Massillon, Ohio, he was a son of Reuben "RJ" and Pauline (Brechel) Krisher, both of whom preceded him in death. On July 29, 1950, in Hamilton, Ohio, he married Lenora Bradner, who survives. Other survivors include two sons, Ronald L. (Kathy) Krisher, and Kevin C. (Barbara) Krisher; four grandchildren, Robbie, Libby, Katie and Shane, and four great-grandchildren, Jackson, A.J., Courtney, and Jacob. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Marjorie and Helen Krisher. The Rev. Laurie Davis will conduct funeral services at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Peace Lutheran Church - St. Paul's Sanctuary, Seymour. Burial will take place at Riverview Cemetery, Seymour, with a military flag presentation at the graveside. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Voss Chapel, Seymour, and from 12:30 p.m. until time of service Thursday at the church. A Masonic Service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to Peace Lutheran Church or the Alzheimer's Association.
