Seymour Daily Tribune May 20, 2002 Mary Jean Kvaal Mary Jean Maschino Kvaal, 71, White Bear Lake, Minn., died at noon Saturday, May 4, 2002, at her home. Mrs. Kvaal was a graduate of St. Ambrose School and Shields High School in Seymour. Born Aug. 5, 1930, in Jennings County, she was a daughter of Frank and Mary Vogel Maschino. She married Kenneth Kvaal in Minnesota and he survives. She also is survived by three sons, Dan (Ann) Kvaal, Gregory (Marilee) Kvaal and James (Debra) Kvaal; a daughter, Kelly Siegler; two brothers, Marvin (Ladonna) Maschino, Del City, Okla., and Joe (Patricia) Maschino, Forth Worth, Texas; six sisters, Helen Thoele, Dolores Maschino, Dorothy (Harrell) Hess, Loretta (Ted) Henkle, Mildred Thomas, all of Seymour, and Angela Hill, Tempe, Ariz.; and 10 grandchildren. Mrs. Kvaal was preceded in death by two brothers, Orville Maschino and Tony Maschino; and a sister, Leona. Services were held May 8 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Roseville, Minn. Burial was at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, St. Paul, Minn.
