Seymour Daily Tribune April 27, 2002 Lora Holmes Lamb Lora Holmes Lamb, 35, of Henryville and formerly of North Vernon, died at 6:50 a.m. Thursday, April 25, 2002, in a Clark County automobile accident. Mrs. Lamb was Class of 1985 valedictorian at Jennings County High School, and a 1990 graduate of Hanover College. She was a former member of the International Order of Rainbow for Girls in Indiana, North Vernon Assembly 84. She was a former employee of the Jeffersonville Evening News and had been employed for the past five years as a statistical clerk for the United States Department of Agriculture Census. She enjoyed crafts. Born July 22, 1966, in Columbus, she was a daughter of Louis Holmes and Marjorie Gidcam Holmes, and they both survive in Richmond. On June 22, 1991, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, New Albany, she married Richard P. Lamb and he survives in Henryville. She also is survived by her parents-in-law, Jim and Betty Lamb, North Vernon; and two nephews, Dylan Lamb, North Vernon, and James Chaney Jr., Springfield, Tenn. The Rev. Ernest Lamb will conduct memorial services at 3 p.m. Sunday at Dove-Sharp and Rudicel Funeral Home, North Vernon. Friends may call from 1 p.m. until time of services Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society through the funeral home.
