Seymour Daily Tribune January 9, 2002 Wilbur M. Lambring Wilbur M. “Wib” Lambring, 75, Seymour, died at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2002, at his home. He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Sauers. He was a retired farmer and was a member of Lutheran Laymen’s League. He served in the Army during World War II. Born May 5, 1926, in Jackson County, he was a son of Gustave Lambring and Alma Moenning Lambring. Survivors include a brother, Richard (Phyllis) Lambring, Seymour; a sister, Marjory A. Lambring, Seymour; a sister-in-law, Gladys Lambring, Seymour; a nephew, Max (Rhonda) Lambring; a niece, Staci Lambring; and two great-nieces, Bailey Lambring and Kendall Lambring. A brother, Fred Lambring, preceded him in death. The Rev. Craig Muhlbach will conduct funeral services at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Sauers. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Full military graveside rites will be conducted by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1925, American Legion Post 89, Disabled American Veterans 47 and Vietnam Veterans 7, all of Seymour. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Voss and Sons Funeral Service, Voss Chapel, Seymour, and from 9:30 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the church. Memorials may be given to St. John’s Lutheran Church or Lutheran Hour.
