Seymour Tribune - September 15, 2009 Gael Alden Liebert 1944 - 2009 Gael Alden Liebert, 65, Seymour, passed away at 2:01 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 13, 2009, at Columbus Regional Hospital. Mr. Liebert was a member of Haleysburg Church of the Nazarene, Vallonia. He enjoyed fishing, truck and tractor pulls and lying on the couch watching television. He retired from Regal Insulation in Crothersville in 2009. Born Aug. 23, 1944, in Hattiesburg, Miss., he was the son of Denzil L. Liebert, who preceded him in death, and Edith Williams Liebert, who survives in Salem. On July 24, 1985, he married Alma Mae Bowers Liebert, who also survives. Other survivors include children, Gael A. (Jodee) Liebert, Kim Wheeler and Angela (John) Rosenbaum, all of Salem, Kevin Anderson, Tracy (Patty) Anderson, Joey (Maria) Knight, Teresa Thompson and Tuwana (Frankie) Simpson, all of Seymour, and Kimberly Hatton, Ellettsville; brothers, David (Brenda) Liebert, Salem, and Stephen (Lee) Liebert, Brownstown; 19 grandchildren; and two great-grandsons. He was preceded in death by two sons, David Anderson and Roy Knight. Pastor Mark Roberts will conduct funeral services at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Dawalt Funeral Home, Salem. Interment will be at New Hope Cemetery, Scottsburg. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
